This Shield bolts directly to the top of your Dragon Filter, and completely shields the filter from any heat to create additional Horsepower. To further complement your intake system you can attach the hose from your RAM AIR KIT to the top of the Shield to achieve a enclosed direct COLD RAM AIR CHARGE to your AIR FILTER. This Dragon Filter Heat Shield is made of heat resistant plastics to resist any Heat soak, which may occur in daily driving. To install this performance upgrade to your Ram Air Equipped Intake System, you simply remove the Ram Air Hose from your Ram Air Adapter and unbolt the Ram Air Adapter from the top of your Dragon Filter. Next you align and slide the shield onto the filter, then bolt the shield down via screw on top of the shield. Finally you re-connect the Ram Air Hose to the top of the Heat Shield. Now your vehicle is are equipped with COLD RAM AIR.
