The Scion xB DC Sports DME Engine Torque Damper is a compact, self contained shock that reduces unwanted engine movement. By eliminating this movement, you are in essence transferring the power it once took away from your engine to do this, and putting it to the wheels. The damper installs in between the engine and chassis with custom steel brackets (for maximum strength). It effectively restricts engine movement caused by engine torque when you are shifting gears. So in between gear shifts you are less likely to miss that gear during aggressive shifting. As well as, rock solid response once in the next gear. It also reduces the shock and stress to the OEM engine mounts causing them to last much, much longer. It is adjustable for pre-load and dampening strength, so you can dial in your custom application or just what feels right to you.. Transfer more power to the wheels by minimizing engine movement.
