Once your Scion xB is lower, the next thing to consider is your camber adjustment. Your camber will change when the car is lowered drastically. Usually to a very negative. Again, this is great for a track car, but on the road with a daily driver, you will eat through tires often. Scion xB's do not have adjustable camber kit from the factory. To combat this you will need to purchase eccentric camber bolts kit for your lower strut mounts, or adjustable pillow ball camber mounts kit for your upper strut mounts. Then you can have your car aligned to back within factory camber spec. I personally chose a mild negative camber for my car, -1.2 degrees, this is just outside of factory spec, but performs well for me. My tires are showing near even wear as well.

  •      Superior handling, through correct alignment.
  •     Even tire wear.
  •     VIP look.
  •     Tuck your rims.
  •     Track tuning.

Pillow ball mounts kit are simply the best way to go, for superior fitment and user friendly tune ability. They will get you points on the street, at the show, and at the track. The cost and installation of these kit is a little greater, but the rewards are definitely worth it. Only a hand full of kit companies have manufactured these pillow ball camber mounts kit, so you're a little limited on choice. However; for the most part, these are all top end companies, so it would be hard to go wrong. It will boil down to a personal choice camber kit.

The camber bolt kits are inexpensive, and easily installed. However, taking it to a shop for alignment is a must. Pillow ball mounts kit are much better at this job, but the kit cost can be huge. In the end, it is up to how you would like to deal with this, but know it is a must to consider for your Scion xB.
